Mardi Bra – Holding Up Post Katrina  2007 • Sale Pending She was inspired to create a bra for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with partial proceeds from the sale to be donated to Susan B. Komen Fund. Bra is made from 2 plaster and gauze castings of Victoria Tane’s face. Using all recycled materials similar to those you’d find roiling in the landfill after a cataclysmic event the mask also highlights the corresponding environmental component to breast cancer because of the fuel we burn and the air we breathe.
